I do not bank here, but have cashed a check. The lobby is very clean and modern, especially compared to other nearby banks. They do cash Star Bank issued checks, even if you don't have an account, for a small fee of $3.00. The tellers were friendly and weren't overly pushy about opening an account. If I were looking for a new bank, I'd recommend them based on customer service alone.
